Cloud PBX

A Cloud PBX is a dedicated virtual server private to your business that supplies all the features you need to run a fully featured business phone system.

Businesses and offices require advanced phone features that are only offered by a PBX. For example, a welcome menu (Welcome to our business, press 1 for etc) or a call park where a receptionist can put a call on hold before trasferring to the receiving extension. Other common features are queues, ring groups, conference groups and time conditions. Our cloud PBX support these features and many more. When you rent a cloud PBX you get your own server instance which is secure and private to your offices. Your inbound calls land with the PBX and from there rules can be set for what to do next - send to menu, ring group, receptionist etc. This level of feature set is not offered in a call plan where calls will be delivered directly to the registered phone.

You need a good broadband service if you have multiple extensions. We recommend at least fibre broadband with > 20mbps speeds. There are no other requirements and the PBX can be used with standard SIP desk phones or apps for computers or mobile phones.

No there is no contract. All our services are prepaid. You can cancel at any time or simply decide not to pay for the next period.

We accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Paypal. We also accept bank transfer / standing orders for recurring payments.

Yes, these two services can be combined but we recommend using a SIP Trunk (outobund calls) / DID (inbound calls) combination with a Cloud PBX as it is more flexible. One SIP Trunk can be shared across the entire business even with different DID numbers for extensions and departments. This means you can share inclusive minutes. With a call plan you pay separately for each number.

Yes, we supply fully compatible Grandstream phones that come preconfigured to your needs. See our devices page for more information. If you already have SIP compliant phones we can help you configure these to work with our PBX.

No, we setup everything remotely including phones if you purchase from us. We ship the phones to you and you simply plug them into your power and network. The PBX is monitored and managed remotely and any changes you require can be made remotely including phone settings via our AutoDevice system.

No, we only charge you a fixed fee to rent the PBX service. If you wish to terminate the service then you are free to do so at any stage. As there is no PBX hardware there are no charges for equipment.

Calls made from Microsft Teams are routed to the SIP Proxy and are onward routed to the PBX for handling whether that is internal or external calls. External calls will be made by whatever routing you require e.g. they could route to your Outbound SIP Trunk sharing your company free minutes. Likewise calls from external numbers come to your PBX and are routed to PBX functions like extension follow-me, time-rules, ring groups, queues, IVR etc before onward routing to end user devices. These end users could be using Microsoft Teams and in this case the call will be passed to the Microsoft Teams app to answer the call whether thats on a computer or the mobile app. Both the Microsft Teams computer app and the mobile app will ring simultaneously if the end user is logged into both. This is ideal for users who are out and about.
