How to use Microsip for Windows with my Call Plan

We recommend Microsip as a comprehensive, lightweight and free SIP client for Windows based computers. It is simple to setup and use with Irish VoIP and can be used to make and receive calls from your computer.

  1. Download the Microsip installer application from https://www.microsip.org/downloads

There are full install and a portable versions (if you don't have admin rights on your PC).

2. Once installed and launched right click on the bottom left corner of app and click Add Account

3. Enter the details for your account similar to below replacing your number and password.

4. In Settings you need to enable the DNS Srv checkbox to enable the SIP Servers to be found

That's it. You should now be registered and be able to make and receive calls via your Irish VoIP account on your PC
